Horizon Forbidden West to kontynuacja niezwykle udanego projektu Horizon Zero Daw.

Album z muzyką do tej gry uzyskał wynik ponad 35 milionów streamów na Spotify, zaś sama gra sprzedała się w ponad 10 milionach egzemplarzy.

Akcja Forbidden West rozpoczyna się pół roku po wydarzeniach zaprezentowanych w Zero Dawn. Raz jeszcze grający przejmuje kontrolę nad Aloy, a na jej drodze pojawi się jeszcze więcej zagrożeń, stojących na przeszkodzie do poznania odpowiedzi, od których zależy przyszłość życia na Ziemi. Podczas walki grający będą musieli wykazać się nie tylko refleksem i zwinnością, ale też zmysłem taktycznym i właściwym doborem broni.
