Sony Masterworks zaprasza do wysłuchania albumu The Prom (Music from the Netflix Film). "The Prom" jest adaptacją broadwayowskiego musicalu o tym samym tytule, zaś scenariusz do filmu napisali Chad Beguelin i Bob Martin.
Film opowiada historię o homoseksualnej licealistce, mieszkance stanu Indiana, która na szkolny bal pragnie przyjść z dziewczyną. Niestety, nastoletnią bohaterkę spotyka odmowa ze strony dyrektora szkoły. Dziewczyna postanawia walczyć z niesprawiedliwością. Nie jest w tym jednak sama - z pomocą przybywają jej aktorzy z Broadwayu. Dla nowojorskich artystów jest to szansa na reaktywację kariery.
